10/24/22:
Idioms and such don't come up much in Sci-Fi (except when aliens don't understand ours). Except for that one TNG planet that spoke in nothing BUT idioms. Would a couple of Gorn casually refer to each other as "Hey, Gorn, it's basking out here." Perhaps one day we can explore that...

BrickVoid: I wonder if Ezzok has had his chance to experience that bath he was promised, yet? You also missed an excellent opportunity to beam him aboard the ship using the teleporter! That said, this comic is doing very well! :D

Commander Dale Zurkett: Hank! There you are.
    Sorry we didn't get a chance to catch up more at the banquest.
Colonel Hank Reynolds: Don't sweat it. I'm here now!
    Just touring the ship with Ezzok. Thought we'd check out engineering.

Panel 2:
Dale: So... are you you wanting to join the crew after all?
    Even after having your own command?
Hank: Yeah, some command. A few of us even lived.

Panel 3:
Ezzok (aside): *Grunt* *Climb*
Dale: Sorry, I didn't mean to--
Hank: Hey, man... you saved our backsides.

Panel 4:
Hank: Anyway, I'm thinking about it.
    "Federation Star Defense." I like the name. And the mission statement.
    (aside): Good-looking warp core.
Dale: What about you, Ezzok?
SFX: LAND!
Ezzok: I have been informed that returning to S'sgaron at this moment is unwise.
    There is an upheaval in our High Command and they are... testy about the lost ship.
    I believe you would say they are looking for a "scapegoat."
Dale: Been there, man.

Panel 5:
Ezzok: "Man?"
Dale: It's another saying. We'll have to hang out and chat about it.
Hank: Hang ou? I'd be down for that!
    We're not doing anything.

Panel 6:
Andre Peters: Ahem. Commander? The duty roster?
Dale: Right. Best part of the job.
