Brickvoid: It might be a teleportation trap, in which case, those men are no longer there. This seems obvious, given that there was no explosion SFX added to any panel on or after the static.

Guard Captain (aside): And switch to the mobile camera feed!
Camera Guard (aside): Switching, sir!

Panel 2:
Guard 1: First room, clear! No contact with enemy.
Guard Captain: SSquads 2 and 3, check those side rooms!
    Squad 1, scan this area!
Camera Guard (aside): I'm online now.

Panel 3:
Guard 1: Side rooms are empty, too, sir!
Guard 2: I don't get it! Did they know we were coming?
    Are you sure we have the right building, Captain? Maybe they have a secret hideaway...
Camera Guard: Hang on, there's something on this table. I think it's a note.

Panel 4:
Camera Guard: What language is this?
Guard 2: Activate your headset's translator function.
Camera Guard: Oh, right. It says... "Look Up." In... Earth English?

Panel 5:
Guard 2: Look up? Wait, on the ceiling! What is that? A digitial readout? Camera Guard: Translator reads it as Earth numerals. The number keeps changing. Hang on, I think it's counting backwards.

Panel 6:
Supreme Advisor: Captain! Get your men out of there! Get out of there now!
Guard Captain (comms): Sir, what? But we--
