Narrative Text: 2 hours later...
Grayson Talbot: Well, this is certainly an intriguing offer. Not what we were looking for initially, of course.
Supreme Advisor: Still... a fair exchange?
Panel 2:
Talbot: I'll have to see what my superiors think. Barring additional factors, of course.
Supreme Advisor: Of course.
Panel 3:
Guard Captain: Sir, the particle storm is ending. I believe we can... proceed.
Supreme Advisor: Ah, excellent timing.
We have just reached a preliminary accord.
Panel 4:
Yeoman Bridget Janson: The storm is ending? We can finally contact Commander Zurkett?
Supreme Advisor: I'm certain you can. Provided he survived his foray on the streets.
But excuse me. A matter of state calls me away and I must attend.
Talbot: Please! Do what you must.
Panel 5:
SFX: Bzz! Bzz!
Bridget: Oh, there he is now.
Talbot: Oh good. Didn't I say he'd be all right?
Bridget: We're here, Commander! Are you okay?
Panel 6:
Commander Dale Zurkett: Yes, I'm fine. I got a little... lost. Where are you, Yeoman?
Bridget (comms): I'm still in the palace. Negotiations are going well! Can you believe it?
Dale: For the Romulans or the Spoogians?
Panel 7:
Bridget: What do you mean? Have you talked to them? Were you able to get that assassin?
Dale (comms): No luck on that. But I do need to return to the ship and brief Commodore Bannister.
Bridget: But you're in no danger where you are? You can get back to the palace okay?
Panel 8:
Dale: I'm fine, but I won't be coming in. Storm's over, so I can transport from here.
If you, Commander Starrat, and Talbot want to meet me on board, I should be up in five minutes.
Bridget (comms): Natashia beamed up a couple hours ago. But she didn't know what happened to you.
Dale: Great, so I can probably tell them about my excellent diplomatic skills.
Bridge (comms): *Giggle*
Panel 9:
Dale (comms): But seriously... I hope Talbot hasn't signed an agreement with the Romulans yet.
Bridget: Is that because you're still angry at the Supreme Advisor?
Dale (comms): No, there's more. See you on the ship. Zurkett out.
Panel 10:
Stickleback: You did not tell them about us.
Dale: No, I'm not sure about that Talbot guy. And Bridget is a little too sweet on him.
I want you to meet our Commodore first.
Panel 11:
Dale: He's a little... something. But I trust him.
