Panel 1:
Yeoman Bridget Janson: I'm making tea. Would you like some?
Grayson Talbot: Yes, but you know... we ARE on the holodeck.
The replicators could handle it.
Panel 2:
Bridget: Oh, but where's the fun in that?
Isn't it more exciting to pretend this is real?
And maybe an ACTUAL vacation from the political intrigue that is your life?
Talbot: Oh, well... yes. Absolutely.
Panel 3:
Bridget: It must be difficult... all the lives that you're responsible for.
Talbot: Yes... they do weigh on me.
Bridget: And I only wish my shipmates would be more helpful.
Talbot: Oh, I wouldn't be so critical.
The military life can't be easy on them. Or on you.
Bridget: Thank you, but you wouldn't believe what they have planned.
Panel 4:
Bridget: They were discussing it while you were busy. It's--
Gah! What am I doing? I can't share that with you.
I'm sorry. I'd be breaking orders and every chain of command.
Panel 5:
Talbot: Bridget... you have to know... you can tell me anything. You know that, right?
Bridget: I do know that, Grayson.
Talbot; And I would never let you be punished.
Least of all if you told me something illegal, or untoward, that some nefarious sort might be engaging in.
Anything they might do to torpedo this negotiation would endanger so many lives! Lives that you could save?
Bridget: You're right... It's not a betrayal. Not if it saves lives! Thank you for helping me see that.
So please, listen closely... there's a lot you need to know.
