4/22/24:
Hey hey, we're back!
Comments from the Tagboard:
04/24/24 07:15 PM
BrickVoid: There's also the Tajarans and the warp drive information they possess. It would be nice if there was some comic updating how far along they are on that valuable technology. It looked like they were going to make another attack to me, sounds like they might be able to get something seriously troubling to the Intrepid if they thought
they could get it up and running.
04/24/24 07:12 PM
BrickVoid: One possible reason he might believe them is if the planet would really be in danger of becoming uninhabitable to life on it. Hopefully he's a smart fellow and will see reason if the truth is presnted to him. Otherwise the crew of the Intrepid might end up resucing him and everyone on the planet, somehow.

BrickVoid: If the ground equipment failed to detect the upcoming particle storm, it may also have failed to properly account for the amount of damage it would cause! I wonder if those on the Intrepid are sensing the incoming particle storm on the computers? If they're aware of the fact that it might be larger than expected, they might want to warn
the Supreme Commander. I don't know if he'll heed this warning, but if it is way bigger and more damaging than he expects it to be, and if he believes them, it could get seriously troublesome for the Intrepid and the entire planet!

BrickVoid: Would it be posible to make it into a double episode? This prince seems like he really needs to get out more! :D

Panel 1:
Quaestor Shan'leh: Ahem. Mr. Supreme Advisor. Sir? You summoned me?
Supreme Advisor: Ah yes, Quaestor Shan'leh. My wonderful broadcast director You are quite prompt.
Shan'leh: Indeed, sir. I thought it fitting to respond in person. We are nearly prepared for the event.
Supreme Advisor: Very good. Walk with me.
Have you had any difficulties?
Panel 2:
Shan'leh: No. As instructed, I have sent men to install viewing screens in both the dungeon complex and the queen's chambers.
Panel 3:
Shan'leh: Also, we have broadcast the informative edict to the Spoogian populace: Attendance or viewership is mandatory, failure to comply will result in termination, etcetera, etcetera. The usual boilerplate.
Supreme Advisor: Excellent. Please add to the next broadcast that their Supreme Advisor will also include a special announcement for all the people.
SFX: BEEP BEEP
Supreme Advisor: Excuse me a moment. That would be from the Bright Talon, in orbit.
Shan'leh: Of course.
Panel 4:
Supreme Advisor: Commander? You have news to report?
The Earth ship has not returned, has it?
Commander Vedrix: No, sir... simply the analyses you requested.
Supreme Advisor: Go ahead.
Panel 5:
Vedrix: First, sir... We may need to check the ground equipment. It failed to detect an upcoming particle storm.
We've predicted that it will strike the city and most of the north-eastern hemisphere in 2 hours and 15 minutes.
Supreme Advisor: That will be no trouble to my plans. What of the tests?
Vedrix: Yes. My science team finished investigating the material the Earth ship vented before leaving orbit, sir.
It was consistent with warp plasma, but... what did you say again, science officer?
Panel 6:
Romulan Science Officer Yana: We found an unusual silicate aluminum compound mixed with the warp plasma. Likely residue from their ship's primitive piping.
Supreme Advisor: But nothing insidious?
Yana: I can't find any, sir. Other than a useless electrostatic property, the material seems entirely harmless. Likely the Earth ship was built using outdated fabrication techniques.
Supreme Advisor: Excellent.
Panel 7:
Supreme Advisor: Well, then... are we prepared to proceed?
Shan'leh: If you are not troubled by a particle storm striking such a short time after the event. Yes.
Supreme Advisor: Not at all. I believe it will punctuate the execution of that Spoogian woman quite nicely.
