Colonel Hank Reynolds: Commander Vedrix. Welcome to the Intrepid.
Commander Vedrix: Ah, Colonel Reynolds. And not even a token security guard? This is unprecedented.
Hank: I think, at this point... I can trust you enough to not run off.
Besides, if you wanted to hijack the ship, I expect you would have already done it. Seeing as we're grounded.
Vedrix: Indeed. I won't pretend that the option hasn't been discussed amongst my superiors.
But the majority believe peace is the better route for the time being.
Panel 3:
Hank: That's good to hear. I hope their minds don't change when they find out what's going with OUR superiors.
Vedrix: Yes... you hinted at that over the comms. Somehing you can share?
Hank: We have orders to deliver the Supreme Advisor back to Earth.
Vedrix: That is... distressing news. It will not go over well with my government.
Hank: I know. It's why I brought you over. Interrogating him now, together, may be our only good option.
Panel 4:
Hank: I don't think you've met Ezzok. He joined the ship around the same time I did.
I thought he might come along with us. The... intimidation factor might be effective.
Vedrix: Agreed. But I was unaware that the Gorn were entering Starfleet service.
There's a rumor that a Gorn ship was responsible for stealing one of our cloaking devices.
Ezzok: Uh, what? Um...
Vedrix: But like I said, just a rumor. I have some connections inside the Tal Shiar. They also claim that the device was sold to clandestine elements within Starfleet.
Hank: That's quite the rumor.
Vedrix: Yes. And so long as it remains a rumor, I will have no motive to act upon.

Ezzok: Colonel, we should maybe talk?
Hank: I don't think this is a good time, Ezzok.
Ezzok: No, this is about my joining Starfleet.
Hank: What about it? I think it's a great idea.
Ezzok: Well, Commander Zurkett informed me that the ship will be returning to Earth soon. If that's so.... then I must take a temporary leave first.
Captain Korzon and the Grzonder were lost and I am the only survivor.
I can delay no longer... I must return to Gornar to face tribunal.
