Swiftbow: Ooh, good choice. When we get optioned by Paramount for the streaming series, I'll recommend it ;) (And I listened to it while posting this new one)

Freezer: * cues up "Gimme Shelter" for the big climax *
10/09/24 01:23 AM
Freezer: "Gentlebeings - it's been an honor."

Swiftbow: Which is also why the back of the Bright Talon (the one I built) has a different looking rear section. But the REAL reason it's different from the others is because it's a newer ship class.
10/07/24 05:57 PM
Swiftbow: They're photos of toy warbird models. (Not my toys.) Mostly I've used in-show shots for those, but I couldn't find any from that angle.
10/07/24 12:51 PM
BrickVoid: Where did you get the models for the Romulan warbirds on the outer edges?

Transcript
Panel 1:
Major Ulbek: The storm is approaching, sir.

Panel 2:
Ulbek: I must remind you... these particle storms are created by the passage of Spoogie through the unstable ring system of the gas giant.
This will include not only physical impact with meteorites, but also ionizing particles that emit alpha, beta, gamma, and neutron radiation.
The hazard to this ship and all lifeforms on it is astronomical. Indeed... the fact that life evolved on Spoogie at all is extraordinary.
Colonel Hank Reynolds: Thank you, Mr. Ulbek. I am well aware of the hazards.
Maintain current position and shield systems.

Panel 3:
Ulbek: First contact with storm in sixty seconds.
Hank: Hylia, broadcast shipwide and on all friendly frequencies.
Ladies and gentlement... this is your acting captain. We are about to encounter one of the greatest natural threats in the known universe.

Panel 4:
Hank (comms): If we do no survive the next few minutes, please know that I have been proud to act as your captain.

Panel 5:
Hank (comms): With a crew that rivals any Starfleet has ever had to offer.

Panel 6:
Hank (comms): It is in times like these that we prove what Starfleet really stands for.

Panel 7:
Hank (comms): To pit what little might the tools of our inventive minds can muster to protect the innocent.

Panel 8:
Hank (comms): And to perhaps discover what it truly means "to boldly go where no man has gone before."

Panel 9:
Hank: All hands... brace for impact.
