Special Envoy Lorraine Hulyard: Comms officer! Open a channel to that shuttle immediately!
Ensign Hylia: Commodore?
Commodore Jeffrey Bannister: It's okay, Hylia. Go ahead.
Panel 2:
Hylia: Hailing frequencies open. They're responding... putting it onscreen.
Panel 3:
Commander Vedrix: Ah, Intrepid. I'm very sorry our adventures together must end this way.
Jeff: Commander Vedrix: What are you doing in our shuttle? Where's Colonel Reynolds?
Vedrix: Your envoy's arrival gave me little choice, Commodore. I'm under direct orders to return the Supreme Advisor to Romulus.
Panel 4:
Vedrix: As such, I've taken the liberty of bringing him, and some insurance along with me.
I have the Colonel, Ezzok, Grayson Talbot, and the Supreme Advisor imprisoned in the shuttle's cargo bay.
Now... I do not wish for our diplomatic outreach to fail.
Colonel Hank Reynolds (aside): Nicely put.
Vedrix: Therefore... once I have returned the Advisor to my superiors on Romulus, I will remand control of this shuttle to the Colonel and Mr. Ezzok.
And release Grayson Talbot to their custody.

Panel 5:
Hulyard: Helmsman... target and destroy that shuttle immediately.
Helmsman Talia: Excuse me?
Jeff (aside): Excuse me?
Hulyard: You heard me. Launch a full firing solution or I will do it for you.
Talia: Ma'am, we are grounded. Even if I wanted to obey you, our tactical controls are currently disabled through engineering. We CAN'T fire anything.
Panel 6:
Hulyard: I am sick of hearing excuses instead of solutions!
Jeff: Special Envoy, if you keep giving illegal orders on my bridge, I will have you held in the brig.
Hulyard: Try that and see what happens in the end, Commodore. It will not be pretty for you.
Captain Jenkins! This is your chance to finally impress me.
