Thumbs up are interesting with minifigs... after a brief (and horrifying) attempt to Photoshop a thumb onto his hand, I opted for the action effect. Legos do not look right with realistic hands.

Panel 1:
Supreme Advisor: Simply leave the planet? Out of the question! What right do you have to make such a demand?!
Commander Dale Zurkett: Probably better than your right to be here exploiting the Spoogians.
Panel 2:
Supreme Advisor: What an absurd allegation! They love us here.
Dale: Talbot, are you sure you want me to--
Grayson Talbot (SFX): *Thumbs up!*
Panel 3:
Supreme Advisor: We have taken great pains to improve the Spoogian standard of living.
The poor creatures were mostly dwelling in caves before our arrival, after all.
Panel 4:
Lieutenant Commander Natashia Starrat: But the particle defense technology was introduced by the war survivors, NOT your occupation forces.
That system is what allows them to live on the surface.
Panel 5:
Supreme Advisor: Commander, you allow a mere secondary officer to speak without permission? You humans are known for being weak and sappy and you display it here for all ot see!
Dale: No, it's fine. She actually knows a lot more about this than I do.
Panel 6:
Dale: But wait a minute... you haven't denied what she said?
Supreme Advisor: Hrrumph. You must be unaware of the frightful conditions we found the particle defense system in. Hardly even functional.
Natashia: Furthermore, this planet is in the Neutral Zone. No one should be governing it except the indigenous race - the Spoogians.
Supreme Advisor: So you denounce our ancestral claim!
Natashia: It's unproven. None of your people are descended from the crash survivors.
Panel 7:
Supreme Advisor: Perhaps not directly, no. But an heir HAS been found. A distant cousin.
Anyway, that is (hrumph) irrelevant. Let us move to the required starting point of negotiations:
Your groveling apology.
Dale: Huh? Apology? For what?
Talbot: I think he might be referring to the stolen cloaking device.
Panel 8:
Dale: Which we had nothing to do with!
Talbot: Let's not quibble about that.
I think it's time a professional negotiator stepped in.
